As many of you know, my husband Rodney and I have started raising money and helping the people of Buwenge, Uganda to build a school and orphanage for the 147 children that are homeless and meet for school in a very small, one room church building. The Lord has already started to provide! We now have enough money to finish the latrine and more:)
Last weekend we set up at our first festival and I am always so amaised to see God work. I don't know why, it is almost like He has to prove His faithfulness to me over and over and over again. I know He will provide especially since He is the one that called us to Uganda and specifically to Kaako School and Orphanage and He loves those children even more than I do(which is hard to imagine) but it still seems to shock me when we receive a large donation. I am just so thankful that no matter how little my faith is He just keeps on using me!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!

This video really shows the heart of God and why we have such a heart for Uganda. It does not matter where you go to to God's work because He sees no boundaries. He does not see city, state, or country boundaries, He does not see color, gender, or nationality. All He sees is His children and until we see the same thing and just go and do what He says, we will never have the joy of finding true happiness!

An army of Baby Bottles!

The bottles are here! We are giving out bottles to anyone who is willing to donate their spare change to go towards our adoption. All you have to do is get a bottle and fill it with your spare change and when it is full we will pick it up and be one step closer to bringing home the child that God has for us!

Thank you in advance for your support!!!

UNDER YOUR FEET!

Today I went on a field trip with Georgia and I was reminded of a very important promise from my God. He tells us that if we can just put our trust in Him, He will  protect us, put our enemies and things that may harm us under our feet, and we will accomplish GREAT things through Him!
So often I find that I trust in myself, my husband, friends, spiritual leaders, and many other things(and all of these people can be a great source of help and advise)before I ask God for His advise, but I must always remember to put my trust in God first. Because in the end He is the only one who will never lead us astray and will never harm us!

Give us help in our trouble; for there is no help in man. 12 Through God we will do great things, for through Him our haters will be crushed under our feet.
Psalms 60:11-12

WAITING ON GOD!

We are now 100% sure that it is God's will for our family to adopt from Uganda! We are going to start the process and Pray for Gods guidance. I am so excited to see how He uses this process to grow our family! We have a particular child in mind, so we are praying that situation will work out, but in any case we know that God is in control and that He knows the child or children that are for us.
